General audio set up

Right oh, so following a thread yesterday, ive sorted myself out an Alpine HU for my 197 Cup.

In my loft i have these beauties,

Old, but afaik, are in full working order. What is the name for these type of speakers with on-board tweeters?

The plan is to install them, but where is best........front or rear? (For those who dont know the 197 doesn't have rear speakers fitted unless specced). Eventually I will buy two more upgrades, any thoughts on what other speakers would compliment what I have?

They are co-axials. Will be ok either way. The more common set up is to use them in the back and components in the front

Cheers. Whats the thought on dynamatting round the speakers to add a bit of clarity? The 197 Cups door cards are proper bo plastic, cant do any harm can it?
