General mods

Hi there,



Im in New Zealand, and not very many people have clios here. I have a 2000 clio 172, and we are doing trackdays in it. We have removed the cats, and put on race tyres, ebc greenstuff pads, and thats it.

What other mild performance mods actually work? And, also same question for suspension. I dont want to spend too much, as the Clio already cost double the price of my Subaru wrx!

very difficult to get any real power gains from the 172

the obvious ones though are

full performance exhaust system
sealed air filter housing a performance filter
remapped ECU

not sure how the head can be worked, nor the cams, but im sure some work is possible

Bryan what you on about..... it can release approx 250 horses without going to a charger of some sort, ok maybe they aint general mods, but they do exist

yes but they cost a few more pennies than i was working around
