general question (take a look)

I was wondering is it possible in anyway to have a device fitted that would tell me my MPG it doesn't have this feature on the car as it is basic model. And it would be pretty useful to have this to easily work it out as I practically have to empty the fuel tank before filling it to work out my MPG between each fill up??

anyone know if this is possible to do, and if so how costly is it?

The in car computers are rarely that accurate anyway.

You don't have to empty the tank to work out your MPG .. you just have to fill it up to the same point (i.e. the brim!) .. doesn't matter if you've used 1/10th of a tank or 9/10ths of it !

and how would you work out the MPG if you don't empty the tank (I base it on £40 because that's what I fuel up by each time)

You need to know miles done and how much fuel used .. when you fill it up, look at the pump and see how many litres you've put in.

You drive a 65bhp diesel .. why are you concerned with MPG !?!?! It's not going to be in the teens !
