Genuine and non genuine headlights

Hello all, slight fading starting on my headlights, I've heard you can get non genuine headlights but I was wondering what the quality is like and if I should just try and get some genuine ones?

As above, set yourself aside a couple of hours, and get rubbing. I'm no detailer, but I did mine the other week, look mint now.
