Getting a pc....what?

  Nissan 370Z
hello everyone,
basically im in the process of buying a pc.

im looking at the menzerna polish range.

well i was thinking,

Menzerna Intensive Polish(PO85 Rd)..> sonus Sfx 1 Cutting Pad
Menzerna Final Finish (Po1o6FA).. >sonus Sfx 2
Super Resin Polish.. >sonus Sfx 3
Meguiars no.7.. > sonus das finishing pad
Egp (by hand) or that blackfire one?
Then swissvax onyx.. > Lg black finishing pad

Any help...alterations would be great.

Also be buying ag car glass polish for the windows. What pad?

another newbie question, so do you need the backing plates purely for when your switching from say a 6" pad to a 4" pad...then you change the backing plate accordingly.

thanks again

#7 wont work between the SRP as the EGP as it won't bond to it.

If you do use the Megs #7, I would apply that and the wax by hand. Also EGP works better by hand for me.

Poorboys SSR 2.5, 2 and 1 or Megs #83 and #80 are alternatives to the Menzerna's.

As said by PM last night in the same topic - Light cut or polishing pads work fine with the AG Glass Polish.

Yes you just need to change the backing plate for the different sized pads.

Lime Prime will still not let the EGP bond.

If you want to use EGP it needs to go after SRP straight away.

i used the menzerna then finished of with chemical guys 50/50. was the first time i'd pc'd my cars as was v happy with the results

I'm just waiting for Tim to get back to me from cleanyourcar to order a Meguiars G220.

I'll run over it with clay, then menz intensive, then menz final finish, then srp, then egp x2 and finish off with P21s x2 or Megs #16 x2 if I want something more durable for winter.
