getting tyres of the rim

Hi, I'm trying to refurb my alloys but can't get the tyres off. Does anyone know a way to get the tyre off the rim?

Tyre places usually will whip them off for nothing, otherwise just take the air out and push the wall in to get better access to the face

tyre place to be honest because you might struggle to get them off without proper tools for the job without damaging the rim.
but if you must remove them yourself. push the sidewall into the centre of the wheel as much as you can as you are levering them off.

Haha that would be fun alex! Unfortunately I don't have the escort they came off anymore so I can't :( I don't need the tyres, they are cracked, so just grind through the radial? Will the rubber not burn?

I'd try it tbh, just be careful near the rim.

Dont know if it would burn but when I got some wheels I was going to grind the tyres off but they came tyre less!

Cool, I'll do that tomorrow. Got pissed off and cut most of the tyre off 2 of the wheels but the radials are still on each side with a couple of inches of rubber lol. Probly not the smartest move but it got my aggression out :)

actually, cutting most of the tyre off was probly the best thing to do! gave me better access to the radial without worrying about grinding into the rim :) one down, 3 to go
