Girlies insurance?

  Sunshine Bus ph-quick
Who are good for female drivers with no no claims, only been on another policy as a named driver.

Diamond and Shielas Wheels won't quote online because I'm a student.

I'll be 21 when the policy starts. :)

HI Hayley,

Although I am not female, I would suggest trying the likes of Elephant, Direct Line and Churchill Tesco and Co Op. I am still a young drive at 22 and Ive always found these people to be good, my twin sister uses Liverpool Victoria, oh if you are a student you could try a specialist student insurer called endsleigh!

Normally insurance companies offer a cheap deal for someone who hasnt insured before, being female should help you get a reasonable quote! (we hope)
I hope my rant helps?

Rich :)

Really, Diamond wont quiote you for being a student? I was insured with them when I was a student! Other cheap ones for low no claims and young drivers are Elephant, Admiral and Bell.

Nope online it says "sorry we can't quote for that occupation" and when I call they said they couldn't quote because I was a FT student?

I'm with LV atm, they're pretty good but was wondering who else was cheap come renewal..

Tesco aren't great for paying out in an incident from experiences I've heard so I've avoided them, but my mums an employee so gets 10% off.. might try there.

Thanks people :D

  SMURF!!!
Try Churchill too - ive found they seem to favour younger drivers to be honest.

Both me and the blokey use churchill as we found them to be cheaper and we are both 22, but my dad and his dad found liverpool victoria cheaper than churchill and they are both in their 50s.

Hope that helps.

Hi, I now use Privilege insurance. I used to be with Tesco, but I now find them to be more expensive, even despite the fact I have 5 years no claims which is rather odd. My 19 step son also is with Privilege and whilst his is expensive (he's had a bump already) it was by far the cheapest quote.

Good Luck!

Jean
