Yep you can. Although mixing different "brands" is a bit of odd area.
But generally yeah you can. I used Chemical Guys Wet Mirror Finish before Dodo Blue Velvet Wax a few times on the Monaco. But To be honest the need for a glaze is not worth it if the car is polished correctly. If it is properly corrected then I just skip straight to wax.
I think most Glazes have fillers in them to help hide swirls although im not 100% sure. So no cutting just hiding.
Knock yourself out. I just found the time taken to add glaze and take it off then add wax take it off made no difference other then adding 2 hours to my cleaning regime!
Aye it does seem a bit deeper. As said though I just stopped using a glaze, seal then wax purely because of the time taken. And the difference wasn't "that" different to me so didn't see the point. I think it's harder to see the difference on dark cars though.
On my new car I gave it a good wash and wax just after I got it. 2 weeks ago I topped it up with some zaino Z8 and it looked awesome. Then this week tried out some Jeffs werkstatt acrylic gloss and the flake popping I got was awesome.
I'd say it all depends on what colour you work with (others might disagree) that's just IMO
Yer you always seem to get a pretty good finish on darker cars, can prob tell more on a silver car or light colours if you have done a good job.
The glaze I have bought is Poorboys - White Diamond, the sealant is Chemical Guys Wet Mirror Finish and the wax is Chemical Guys - XXX Hardcore Paste Wax.
With the sealant and wax been both Chemical Guys I imagine they will work well together if it makes a difference :S
Yeah they'l be fine. Wet Mirror finish is an odd one as its sold as a sealant but its more of a glaze. Its sold as a "gloss magnifier" and even though it is in the sealant section id say its in between a glaze/sealant. It doesnt seem to have the properties of a sealant or the filling properties of a glaze. Just inbetween! Its rather weird.
For example I have Poorboys EX-P Sealant
and when I was experimenting with the finishes between products found that this wasnt as "glossy" but seemed to seal/bead quite well where as Wet Mirror didnt seem to seal/bead as well.
Not saying it isnt good as it is! If that makes any sense!?!?! (Makes sense in my head but hard to write down) I still have and use mine (when I can be arsed!)
Yer I have read this actually, people saying that it should be in the glaze section or even polish. Bloody false advertisment making me buy wrong things lol.
