Glove box door.

Just a quick question guys.

Would the door of the glove box in a 172 be identical to one in a 05 182?

Id say yes as the dash is the same on the 1.2s aswell only the dash strips changed colour

sorry to hijack the thread, but how easy are they to change as mine is quite scratched and thinking about changing it

Very, open the door and where the two "hinge" cylingers are, there are small tabs sticking up, push these back and the cylinders retract and the door just falls off.

Think your wrong mate! Fitted a new one the other day! You've got to drill out the 3 rivvets at the 'hinge' or bottom of the door, and then re-rivvet the new door on!

It is real easy! Takes about 10 minutes if that!

How do you get the 2 arms that stop the door falling to far down out?

Once the rivvets are out, they will simply slot out of the gaps.
