Glove Box Light

My glove box light doesn't work. Tried variuos bulbs (Festoon) including the new LED's i bought the boot fits fine and works. The glove box light however fails to work

Any ideas?

Are you trying it with the headlights on?

LOL no facepalm haha. Tried it with the lights on guys, still no result

Replaced the LEDs and lights so thats not the problem & the socket/brcket the bulbs are held in have been swapped (swapped them with the boot).

AND! they still donn't work. Boots sound though.

Im going to check that theres power running inside the wire, hopefully 12V. I doubt its the fuse's because the A/C & other switches light up

are the cables connected on to the back of the light?

Yea I'd check with a voltmeter you've actually got power going through the cables to it.
Then at least you'll know if its bulb related or not.

I did a bit of a facepalm when I realised mine only worked with the headlights on, although it was a double facepalm - one at myself then a bigger one at Renault...

Have you checked the micro switch is operating correctly?
