Glut of DCis - 4k off list!!!

Ok, someone tell me if this sounds right and whether Im likley to be able to get near this price myself. My brothers housemates brother works for RUK. He managed to get his brother a dynmaique dci 80 with cool pack and met paint for just under 7k.



Apparantly there are 5000 dcis of all different specs that reno are desperate to clear, moreso by the end of this month. Although he cant give me friends and family rates dealerships should come close to the discount above.



Is this for real? Realistically if I rock up with cash, how likely I am to get something similar?

Renault only make cars to order nowadys so Id be very suprised if there were 5000 dcis out there brand new.
You can get good deals throught F and F (something like 25% of list). But you can get ~24% off normal cars thought friendly delaers who want to trade due to poor sales.
The dci 80 with those packs is about £11.5k so you should be able to get one for £8.4k.
Under £7k is very good value for a dci Id be suprised if they can get less than £7.5k unless they hav a cancelled order etc.

cheers for that. it was a specific spec, he had to pick it off about a 10 page list of different dcis. I think they have been sitting somewhere unregistered for a good 6 months now.

May wander along and see what my local dealer can offer.

Are you sure its not one being used as a demo etc?
Jeremy will know for definate but Im sure Renault have stopped this stocking up of cars and only make what they have sold.

I assume Jeremy works for RUK? Hopefully hell pop in and put me straight if Ive got my wires crossed, which could well be the case, hence the reason for this thread.

Admittedly this does sound alot of cars but the Espace we bought was on a similar list that you speak of, and there must of been at least 30 to choose from!! Compare the amount of Espaces sold to Clios and that might give you an idea of the amount of "miss orders" that take place over say a 6 month period?

Im not sure that 5000 would be correct but i wouldnt be surprised if it was quite a few hundred!
