Good keyboard and mouse recommendation

I'm looking at getting a proper mouse and keyboard, having put up with these pieces of sh* for a while now.

I don't mind whether it's ergonomic or not, or indeed if it's wireless or not, or a mixture.

What I'm looking for is a package (or priced seperately) that:

Totals no more than £50.00.
Has an optical mouse that's comfortable
Has a keyboard with "soft(er) touch" keys
Preferably has a mouse charging dock

Best one I've seen is the Logitech Wave, but doesn't have the charging dock:

That's all. Preferably recommendations from people who own or use said recommendation.

Thanks

James.

For me personally you cannot beat the Apple Mac keyboards. They work with the PC by the way.

Mouse wise I use a raptor, but again the Apple mice are awesome. And no it isnt just style.

I have the wired MAC keyboard on Windows, and its amazing. I type so fast on it :D

And I have the Logitech G5 mouse. Winning combination ;)

What type of mouse are you after? Bog standard 2 button and wheel, multi button, gaming, a mixture?

I swear by my wired lazer Razer Copperhead set at 2000dpi and 1000Hz polling.

Gaming wise I play, very rarely first person shoot 'em ups, like CS Source, FarCry and so on. Normally my gaming is limited to Football Manager 2008!

Main use is for word processing, internet use and music.

Same but I've got an old logitech G5 :) The mac keyboards really are good.

Do you ask how to brish your teeth in the morning?!
Just go to a PC shop and have a play around on some!

Yeah, why don't I go and buy a set from Currys or PC World and get ripped off as well?

Orrrr, I could use the cumulative experience of ClioSport (in the same way that I would give my legal experience to anyone that asked, rather than tell them to "go read a book") who no doubt possess a wide variety of keyboards and mice for their opinions and cut the crap.

Wind your neck in.

My mouse is a logitech one from PC world, think it was like £40 wireless but it doesnt have a red laser on the bottom so the batterys last ages, had mine in for a year nearly before i changed em. cant find a model name on it its small and dark grey :P
