Just spoke to the paretns about getting a respray on my car.... Said no? I was like its my car y cant i? They said your not spending that amount of money on your car, i said fine ill get a new one then..........."OK" :eek:

So people, im 18, currently i drive a 106 Quiksilver, Insurance isnt a problem, So what car would u recomend me getting???? I consider myself to be a sensible driver, So im not to worried about the power, say like a Cup.

Sorry its long but i just want peoples apinions...

I like this forum so wouldnt mind a clio, but i do like the 106 GTis

I have bout 8 ish grand to spend

Anyway if I could afford I would have a 172/182

You could get a MK1 172 for 8k, a MINT 106 GTI / VTS, Civic CR-X Del Sol 160 BHP VTEC with lots of change for mods :D, ibiza cupra ?, williams ?

Care to expand on the "long story"?

Im old now (!) but owing to lots of points, 680 fully comp would still be a good insurance price.

Is there anything you can tell us? (or is it some kind of trade insurance)

Oh, and have you considered a slightly older 306 GTi6? Great cars. Excellent fun with slightly better build (IMO).

Beacuse my dad is high up in his company that he wokls for, he has an agrement that allows him to insure anydriver on anycar for £680 fully comp.... So the only way u can get this is if u become adopted by my parents lol, Sorry mate ;)

Agreed Vix, Its so hard, im a big fan of the Clio CUP also so...... But like u said u can mod a 106 GTi so much easier and they do look wicked when done so! The choices :oops:
