Goodridge Braided Brake Line Kit

You need about 2 litres for a full system, from memory it holds about 1.5 litres.

I have those lines and fluid, good choice :)

I have the lines and fluid on Brembo Max HC discs up front and Mintex Extreme pads all round. Rear discs are still standard.

You'll notice a difference with just the lines and fluid though, well worth it!

Ye thought it'd make a difference which will be enough for me as only use it on the road. Do you know if it a takes a while to replace the lines and re-do the brake fluid?

I still need to get my lines fitted :(

Although I have got rid of the horrid Greenstuff I had on at Rockingham :) NO more brake fade yet and hopefully with lines and bleeding it will be even better :)

I did the lines myself all round in about 2 hours at a guess, it's very simple if you're reasonably confident.

Fluid is quite tricky but once you've got the Eezibleed system set up it's relatively straight forward. Just ensure you never let the bleed bottle run dry of fluid!

The eezibleed system though you could make yourself couldnt you?? Its just a bottle and some piping??

** runs of to check what they are

It's pressure fed Rich, from a spare wheel. Means it's a one man operation rather than needing a friend to pump the pedal.

Hmmm il have a read up about them then as I want to do mine ...although I may just pay someone to do it as I tired to replace a my faulty rear caliper the other day and the b*****d nuts were tight as buggery :(

Believe me I was daunted as hell when I first thought about messing with/bleeding the brake lines as I'd never done it before, but once I'd got my head round setting up the system and getting it airtight etc it was all fairly straight forward :)

You should...but bear in mind your premium will probably go up even though you'd have more chance of stopping with better brakes ;)
