ahhh! i was there as well and saw your lineup along with a black gold a couple of rows in front! i was in the field ,the logic been that it was softop sunday and the area would be jam packed full of mx5's lotus's etc...... perhaps i should of gone there instead

you walked the track! and you didn't get any marshalls chasing you?..it's quite a fast track and st mary's at the back is quite tricky with the hidden dip and then after that the double apex at lavant corner before the straight ,if you get chance to do a track day there or even compete i would reccomend it along with brands hatch(both my faves)

Was a cracking morning. Great turn out and some lovely lovely cars. Getting very popular and its great!

Walking round the track topped it all off. Rich and I were talking about doing another day at Goodwood again soon. My favourite UK track I reckon, so fast!

ahh i see, it is deceptively fast especially coming from start/finish straight and into madgwick, i first experienced it back in the late 80's or early 90's by been given a ride round in a spaceframe hillman imp that was reving to nearly 10k on the lavant straight(pre kink and refurbished) ahh happy memories of how the place used to be before the chichester district council started imposing noise limits etc..

To true sadly. My uncle was an instructor there so always have the place close to my heart. A few of us on here (Rich, Mark and myself mainly) have had many days tearing round goodwood.

Who did your uncle work for? i seem to remember there been mithril racing and or peter gethin racing?

Was that the BG 182 on the end of the row on the way in? as that was me! you didn’t see the BG V6 on the same row. The turn out was massive today never seen that many car on the straight.
