Got my car back!

Ive been driving a corsa for a week while its been in the garage.

Basicly i took it in for tyres as it failed MOT but as i went to drive off it wouldnt start so the garage has fixed this and also gave it an MOT

I couldnt believe how stif everything felt once i got back in it but i dont care its sooooo much better to drive.

I had great fun on the way home from manchester as it handles so much better with the coilovers high however ive just slammed it back down to how it should be lol!Looks > Handling tbh.

Any one else miss their own car after not having it for a few days?

oooh yes. i slammed mine into a wall and snapped back axel and all airbags etc went off. didnt have a car at all for about a month :'(

was sooo happy to have it back again.

I hate it when they give me a 1.2 Clio courtesy car.

The only good thing being that the 182 feels like a Veyron when i get it back

It's off for it's 48k service this weekend, then it's going to JP exhausts for "something special" on the Sunday!

I need something to keep my interest in it TBH

Yeah missed mine a while back when mine was in the garage for about a month too.

I had a 1.2 Corsa as a courtesy. Have to say, it was actually a nice smooth drive and the mp3 connection was very useful!
Could still have fun in it so long as you kept the speed up, shame it had the overtaking finesse of a slug!

Loved the raw feel of the 182 when I got it back though!

I loved the Ph1 172 i had for it's rawness.

Mine has been with Renault since Thursday evening. Picking her up tonight though and bloody hell am I excited! Mainly because I've got some new number plates to put on her. Oh dear, that sounds incredibly sad!

I've been without my clio since friday evening missing it badly as i cant get anywhere ¬_¬ but finally had it picked up and taken to the garage to have a look at it, and they reckon the immoboliser's gone... I phoned renault who are picking it up tomorrow morning and they said that it could be £500 for repairs!

Mine was in for a couple of days last week due to intermittent starting. I got a Honda Jazz!!!! think it was a 1.2, but didn't feel quick enough for a 1.2. steering had absolutely NO feel and didn't re-centre.

I could never go back to having a 'normal' car again I don't think
