Got shock from dealer on value!

Looking to sell my black Full fat 182 04 plate. Called a few dealers to see a trade in price, they reckon around £7,500k max!

It has 21,000 miles and two previous owners. What do you think people, what would it be worth on a private sale? Does a number of owners work against me? As the car has been serviced and is genuine car in excellent order.

Unless you're going to buy a new car from the dealership they're not interested in your car... its all about sales figures

The dealer will sell it for 9.5-10k so they'll offer you far less to ensure they make there tidy profit

Should get approx £9500 private but it will be due its 2nd service soon which is haggling teritory

Sell it privately before the 197 comes out and hits the resale values. Dealers always like a laugh, go back in the last few days of the month and they will be more keen. I just got £7K for a 52 Plate Alfa 147 from my dealer, which is all it was worth as a private sale!
