Anyone played it ^^

I got it about two days ago after rekindling my addiction to vicecity a few days prior lol
I was looking for reviews on the net but they were pretty shite so i thought for the sake of £17 id give it a go.

People says its jus a cheap money spinning scheme for Rockstar which it probably is but i like it lol new bits have been added including cars and car dynamics you can spin the banshee up like a complete phycho. lol

The graphics are poorski as its bin trannsfered from psp but game play is nice.

What does anyone else think?

I've been playing it on the PS2. It looks shockingly bad, but for £14 or whatever I paid it's well worth it. It's just like playing the Original GTA III again only with a different story.

You can't go wrong with cars, guns and *****s in games.

No, not got that yet. I've only been on the second island for a short while. I've not played it much over the last two weeks as I've been playing it in my lunch hour and the Plasma in the boardroom was in use. Might get stuck in again today though.

Been playing on this for about a week now. Nearly finished the first city now. I love it! They again, i've loved all versions of GTA. It's an awesome game to relieve some tension, lol. Graphics are pretty poor. They have simply taken the first liberty city game, used that, but added new missions to it.

New things i have noticed are:

New cars
New clothes
New car dynamics as you say M
Better AI

£15 well spent (Play.com)

Yeah i love it ^^ I hope they make a "Stories" episode of Vice City thought that was the best one i think.

Lee the car showroom is North end of the First island by the Bomb place and the Petrol station.
You have to test drive the cars up to level 6 then it unlocks the rapid car and makes £4000 every week for you i think.

Yh Tyson you do the test driving mini missions at the showroom. once you complete Level 6 you get the car cant remember what its called, its like an old skool GT tis swish.
Test driving takes some doing though took me about 15-20mins lol worth it tho

Apparently they are going to do Vice City stories for PSP.

^^ I'm gonna try this tonight - Coincedently, everytime i go to the car showroom its always bloody closed, so i smash the windows and steal it anyway! Lol.

Have you been doing the Sub-missions - Like answering the telephon down town near the docks, or the boat warehouse mission where you kill Vicenzo?

I done a couple of phone missions but then forgot to save it grrr [autosave is never there when you need it lol]
yeah i had that trouble with the showroom the hours are like 8:00 - 18:00
its worth it just to drive the banshee tis hillarious!


LEVEL 4 AND YOU GET THIS BEAST:
But carryon to level 6 and you get money and it becomes an asset.

Not sure of any other unlockables as it were, but i hear there is some sort of shananigan like the car salesman one on staunton with bikes? :S
Ill see when i get there lol

Matta, i'm gonna try it tonight, how hard with level 9 be to achieve? Let me get this right, you get that beast above at level 4, then the Banshee at level 6 then you own the property if you pass level 9?

Any others you know about?

no sorry my bad, you get the hellenbach gt at 4 then at 6 you own the property and you get money from it, you can keep going up to 9 but nothing happens it just starts snowing lol

im yet to discover how to get the Banshee cheetah and stinger

but thats the jist of it mate.

Test Driving:

Idaho - Run People Down that are on the sidewalk
Banshee or sport car - F*cking Hoon it around
Manana or poo car - Go really farking slow on the road
Buggy/Hummer/Pickup - Turn right out of the showroom down to the car crusher and spank the car up the hills with basic off road tom foolery lol

Its boring but that car is a larf

I thought it was ace, worth it just for the multiplayer, me and my mate used to play it in maths lectures at uni was class fun!

There is a vice city stories coming out. Couple more things id like to see in multiplayer...

- option to turn auto lock off so you can target pedestrians aswel when someone else is beside you
- ability to get in the same car or bike.
- drive by modes where go in teams and one drives other shoots
- ability to bomb cars. nothing funnyier than knocking the other person off a bike and letting them drive off in your car and then detonate it :approve:
- police + option to turn on/off

and id like VC to bring back helicopters and planes, really hope they dont leave that out. harrier jet that you could get in SA would be really nice though!
