Just got a quote from them on a 172, and they gave me a quote for just over 1k, thats £700 cheaper than i can get anywhere else, and the insure any mods you do and will replace them if they get damaged or stolen!
im 21 and that is with 1 years no claims and i dont think my mum was on that quote either. So if i stick mum on there too, that should bring it down a bit more maybe!
emailed them though and said put my mum on the quote, and they emailed back saying that they will put her on there for free, so it didnt go down at all, but who cares at that price!!!
Has anyone tried making a claim through them? Or cancelled a policy, or anything that actually requires them to do any work? From my experience, some really cheap insurance companies can be a real pain in the arse when you want them to work for you.
Called greenlight and HIC at the start of this year for quotes on my valver with no mods;
22yrs, 2yrs NCB - They took all my details (i started getting excited) until it go to the question "and whats your postcode sir?" "E17" - Their response.......burst out laughing! "Sorry mate, we cant insure anyone who lives in the highest rated crime zome in the counry"!!!
Yea, Greenlight were crap on my renewal this year - wanted £500 more than tesco, and cover was tpft not even fc!
I was with them for 2 years previously (no convictions or claims at any point), and in the second year of insurance they never even sent a policy. Had to keep ringing and they sent cover notes. Thankfully never had to claim from them
