Right here is my situation I currently own a ford focus ghia with heavy mods. BUT I am going to be selling her up in the summer and get a clio 182 and I have joined in advance in the hope to get to know a few people with them and to give me advice on things to look out for. And even if someone on here wants to sell one up.

Welcome, focus sounds interesting, any pics?

In regards to what to look out for, service history is a good start, make sure the cambelt has been changed by either Renault, or a specialist, as they are commonly timed up wrong.

Yeah from looking over last few days it seems everyone is talking about cambelt changes. Are they really that difficult on these cars?

We've started to do them once everymonth (ish) with the east anglian "posse". Usually in Diss because it's half way for the Norfolk lads aswell.

East Anglia Modified Car Club - Most the guys are from ipswich on there, bit dead at the moment but there is a big cruise in april

Get yourself signed up as a club member (only £12 and you get a decent membership pack) and then you'll have full access to the site. There are always a good amount of cars in the for sale section which you can have a nose at an speak to the owners. Best of luck!
