Grey Z4 Enhancement Detail

This Z4 came to me pretty tidy, the major problem being a dodgy repair on the passenger door that needed wet sanding. Overall it was pretty tidy but swirly.
The wheels were off to be refurbed so we lent our BMW track wheels. (doesn't look too offensive imo)

As you can see the roof needed a bit of attention...

The car was citrus'd then rinsed down with the pressure washer, this included all of the door shuts, bay etc

Once rinsed again it was snow foamed using Avalanche

The war was then washed using the 2BM...

The decontaminated with three steps, iron X, Tardis then clayed...

As you can see a fair bit of fall out, especially at the rear of the car.

The car was then blown dry with the air compressor and dabbed down with towels.

Then the car was taped up and the whole car evaluated with my paint depth gauge. The passenger door grabbed my attention the most as the repair become a bit more noticeable so I wet sanded it with various papers up to 3000 grit until I was happy.

This was the worst swirling on the car tbh, around the door handles and bootlid but they come up fantastically!

All finished after cleansing and a couple of layers of wax, here's some close ups/reflections and final shots...

If you're talking about the ones that are on there... they're our winter/track wheels Knuckles, there's pics of them on my zed somewhere too.

They're BMW style 32's with a mental paint job.

hahah you learn not to get bothered by how much fuel your putting into it, if you did you wouldnt drive it.
The other half had a Vanquish yesterday, did 100 miles to a tank which is about £120 to fill.. thats serious.

It seriously needs deswirling tho, its hurrendos in direct sunlight

Manc to Essex is 250miles the long way .. 500 miles @15mpg (you won't be doing 300mph all the way on the m'way unless you're a complete spoon ) is only £200ish... I'm sure cruising at 65 in that thing it'd do 20 ? Scoob does 20 around down, 30+ on a (very boring and 'steady' run off boost )
