Can you map read? You could sit in the passenger seat. What could possibly go wrong?

As long as you didn't pick the music it sounds like a date. Lets take your car, I need a laugh.

f**k off. My music taste is epic. I'll let you choose from the iPisch selection. My car... Please refer to my previous statement on imminent death if I went up that course... Do you want to die?

I'm driving. You can sit there quietly until we finish/the car breaks/we crash.

I think i Know what'll happen first.

Actually, Dan isn't choosing any music, we'll be fine.

Ford Turbo's make awesome wastegate noises :) That looked like fun.. Do all rally drivers left foot brake or is Marcus special?

When you see his footwork it's amazing! Those pedals are so close together he must have tiny women feet.
I can just about left foot brake with manly size 11s ;) It'd actually be pretty cool to see more of his footwork and see what he's doing through those nice drifty corners.

:S hmmmmm...

I would be surprised if other rally drivers didnt left foot brake, i can never do it though, would anybody be so kind as to point out the advantages of it though as i fail to see them? Obviously there are some.

Compressor Surge for the more pedantic people out there then, or the flutter noise if your not being pedantic lol.

Left foot braking is good for turn in in corners, it helps with weight transfer and is really handy for correcting mid corner. as Will said below it cuts out delay between accelarating and braking.

This is a pretty good vid to explain left foot braking.

Main advantage is you can swap from accelerator to brake far far more quickly, plus you can brake and accelerate at the same time and stuff like that, think it help tuck the nose in, and bring the back end round in corners, without having to ease of the power. Ultimately it means you have more control.

I'm sure what i have just said will be corrected by someone who knows a lot more than me but thats what i have always thought it was for.

Left foot braking is very useful on loose surfaces. You can keep the car stable on the power and adjust your speed or tuck the nose in with a stroke or jab with left foot. If you were to lift then brake, you'd unsettle the car and then you don't have full control.
