GroupN or Superchip??

  clio 172 cup
I know a friend of a friend who works at superchip and says he'll do my cup for 250 sheets. He obviously says superchip does the best remap but it seems like most on here like the group N one. Can i have a show of hands for each??

christ if £250 is mates rates then i'd dread to know what joe public get charged ...
find sum1 closest to you and see them or look at the fastchip gubbins. all the maps are pretty much the same (not identical) so the cheapest usually wins

Im looking to get my 172FF done before Xmas. Is there a noticble difference in performance. my car is standard at mo and will prob stay that way is just the chip on its own worth the money.

If your going for a groupN i think youd benefit from a panel filter some new cafs, a decat and a decent SS exhaust maybe get the inlets porter or do it yourself (more important on the 172s rather than 182s so iv been told anyway) Then i think youd be looking at some noticeable gains :)

Mines got the superchip, id be tempted by the group n one to get the 7.8k rev limit, always seem to get to the rev limiter too early...

There all much the same remaps realy, personally I wouldn't use superchip though unless your wanting there warently.

Group N was suppose to be for racing but since the 182 never went racing its just a name given to make it sound racey it just a map usualy designed for an adverage 182 with induction kit and exhaust.
