grrr.. my homepage is showing spyware crap

how do i get rid of it.. my niece downloaded a game on the computer, and i think that has caused my homepage to act gheyness

Update to IE7

Download Firefox and only use IE when necessary.

its only a virus, not trojan, so should be ok to kill, visit www.antivirus.com and run the free webscan thing

My guess is,
There isn't a virus. It's just spyware wanting you to install all sorts of crap, in the guise of "helping you"

i downloaded firefox, and that works fine.. but i still need to fix my internet explorer... btw ive just updated it to IE7

Nod 32 is an excellent antivirus, AVG is good too and it's free.

Did you download what it was asking you too? If so it will be worse.

Its pretending you had loads of spyware to get you to download a spyware checker that is itself spyware. Bloody spyware

Usually I find the best way to fix is google that web address like "Address here" set as my homepage, and you should get forums of people having the same problem and how to fix it.
