guide to fitting coilovers...

The front is dead easy.

Jack car up
Remove wheels
Open the bonnet
The stut is help on the car by a nut type thingie get a swan nosed spanner on the recessed bolt on the top of the strut and trict it you'll see after a few tunrs what part of the top needs to be held still to let you remove the strut so stick a spanner on this and hold this bit still and turn the swan nosed spanner.
Remove the two bolts holding the shock to the hub (get a good big hammer and a can or WD-40 etc if they don't want to come off)
Remove shock and spring
Replace the strut with the coilover unit swopping all relevent bits.

if the front's are std shocks it will be a 5 or 6mm allen key for the strut, and a 23mm(?) deep ring spanner(as apposed to a socket) so you can unscrew the top plate while holding the strut with the allen key.

Yeah it shouldn't matter, just a case of taking the old struts and springs out and put the coilovers on :)
