Gurston Down Speed Hillclimb

[ukaskew]

I headed down to Gurston Down today armed with the X100, X-E1 and 55-200mm. Despite only being 50 minutes down the road I've never been before, it's an amazing little venue with near unlimited access for spectators, I will be back!

The Fuji kit has really made me think about every shot, it's also quite the conversation starter, lots of interest in the X100 in particular.

​No not yet, you? I don't think I have any events lined up for a good while now, but will try panning the cable cars in San Fran in a few weeks

No. 6 is definitely my favourite as it includes so many aspects of the day. Great shot of part of the track, giving you some idea of the elevation and surface involved. The Porker shows a good scale aspect then the family line-up in the foreground. Ticks a lot of boxes!
