its a long story so get comfortable! lol

went out for a work mates leaving do last night and parked my car in what i thought a safe area, it was well light and reasonably busy - anyway, walking back to my car, i turn the corner and notice a white transit van parked half on the pavement with 2 people in the front and two people running towards the back doors which were open, they jumped in and shut the doors.

i thought it looked a little dodgy so i memorised the number plate of the van and walked to my car, when i got to my car i could see that someone had smashed the window and a few bits were gone, assuming it was the guys in the white van i carried on walking past as if it wasnt my car and called the police.
The van buggered off but the police turned up 2 mins later, i gave them all the details of the van and within 5 mins they had spotted it and with 30 mins they had caught all 4 people after a car chase and they all did a runner and i got both my amps back! woohoo!

so all im left with is a broken window and some rips in my passengers seat but it could have been alot worse - the police were quality, they were quick and helpful and i cant thank them enough, the only bad thing i could say about them is that they need to finger print my car and havent been yet so i cant drive my clio or have the window fixed but i can live with that

kinda ruined my weekend though as i had only finished my ice install last week and theyve ripped all the carpeting and pulled out all the wiring but atleast ive got everything back

anyway, sorry to have bored you! lol

At least youve got the satisfaction of knowing they are meeting with Mr Big in the showers at some point very soon.

Its rare that you get the opportunity to get one over on them, usually as a victim of crime you end up shadow boxing to vent your frustration.

im proper glad i got everything back but its gonna take me days to clean all the glass and refit it all and re-do all the wiring and im a lazy bugger at the best of times

Rally you did the right thing tho, walking on past, my dad has tw*ted a bloke before for breaking into his car, and my dad had the police on his back!

in your case there were four of em, so u could got f*cked up. at least now they kinda caught and should be made feel like dirty little bitches.

Its a shame about the judicial system will probably give them legal aid paid for by us and they will be back out theiving before long. They wont go to jail, on the whole the police do a good job its the courts that protect them and let them off scott free, to many doo gooders im afraid. bring in corpral punishment for car crime i say that will stop the b******s and bring down our insurance premiums.

Ur very lucky m8 my car was broken into and i lost everything headunit, cd changer, 2 amps, powercap parcel shelf with 6by9s and sub and the police where useless wouldnt even come out had to sort it out over the phone, f**king mugs!

cheers guys - im naturally a suspicious person and always find myself memorising number plates if i think they may have been doing something dodgy - luckily for me it payed off this time.

the police were round last night to finger print my car but found nothing but atleast now i can get round to cleaning up the glass, getting a new window fitted and checking what wiring theyve fooked up re-wiring all my ice
