Hey chaps.
Well. Decided to wash the flame red ready for tomorrows meet. Came back to find spots of paint on the roof and rear q panels. Some prat must have flicked all over it..
I washed the whole thing again and clayed (megs) the damage to no avail. In a moment of desperation i found some cloth slightly rougher than a micro fibre. I knew there was a risk of scratching it so i I tried it on one spot extremely lightly and it came off. Hooraaa! I ran water over the panel constantly and at that point it showed no scratches whatsoever.
When i dried the panels and stepped a few meters back, low and behold my car looks like it has measles. s**t happens :dapprove:
I managed to get some scratch x and had a few goes with it and it its improved. The 'shine' looks restored but it still looks quite shite.
The time has come for a pc i reckon. Any advice which one i should get for beginner level, which pads, polishes etc.
Mark,.
