had a bump- need r light & bumper

Ive just had my first little bump and im a little pissed off.

I reversed into somthing and hit my bumper and rear light, the light will need replacing how much are they from renault and are they sold anywhere cheaper?
The bumper is cracked and the paint is scratched again how much will this cost to replace?

If you need to know what car i have its a 51 plate clio dynamique.

Or even how much would a sport bumper cost as there alot nicer.

Luckily my mum and dad are away on holiday so i should be able to get it fixed intime for them getting back.

Ebay for the back light, as for the scratch umm im not sure really, try to find somewhere that does spraying.

*edit* just read the cracked part... try ebay for a new bumper or a scrappers

What colour, where u located.?

Know of a scrap yard that has about 6-7 clio 172's and various other new shape clios. Some not even put in the yard yet, so parts not allowed to be took off.

the cars silver and im from shepshed witch is near leicester, that sounds interesting any info on that place?
would i need to tell my insurance company about the bumper (if i get a sport one) if so how much would you think they would bump the insurance up?

depends who your with, my insurance went up about £15 per mod, thats based on lowering and spoiler, and have been told about the same for alloys.

Yes you do need to tell them about the bumper if you put a RS one on.


Saying that your in leicster..... i have a new mk2 Dynamique rear bumper for sale!!

not so far away its been smoothed and colour coded so all it wud need is a spray in silver.

Should cost about £50-£100 to get a full bumper resprayed. Doing a reasonably good job!

Condition is excellent! its all wrapped up in bubble wrap at the mo ready to be taken away.

woops sorry missed the link to the thread.

whats been smoothed on it? and has it had any bumper cut away for the exhaust it doesnt look like it but best to ask.

No the exhaust hanged underneath the bumper..... the bumper is all fine.

where you normally have the black "insert" that has been sanded smooth and obviously colour coded ^^ as seen in the above pic, before it was sprayed.
(As it is all textured normally and needs to be smoothed for a good paint finish)

the bumper is all ready to go. Packaged up etc... if u need any more details PM as i may forget about this thread hehe.
