Right, decided to have a go at sorting my headlights out properly. I think some clown has had a go before and only sanded sections meaning there was patchy haze all over them and even the bits that were sanded looked hazy.
I think this is a really effective way to transform the front end - its taken years off it tbh!
Anyway... Down to the pics.
Before:
An example of the patchiness someone left behind last time:
After a quick wipe down of the headlights I got the wet and dry out.
800 grit first (in hindsight I probably could have got away with starting at 1000 grit)
Next up 1000 grit:
Then on to 1200 grit:
Followed by 1500:
Then 2000:
And 2500 which was the last of the sanding:
Then I polished it and applied some Gtechniq C4:
And a few shots to show the comparison between before and after:
Got bored of taking pics so none of the other side I'm afraid.
