Had My Car Claybarred Today!

And all I can say is how amazing the paintwork is now! Theres only a few that have felt the paintwork on my car which pretty much the whole car was covered in overspray and was rougher than 1500 grit sand paper! Took my friend about an hour to do the whole car and words still can't describe how smooth it is now! After watching him doing it, you guys were right in how easy it is to do, now I can crack on with getting her uber shiny for the summer!

Will give the car another wax tomorrow and take some pictures!

while the paint is sitting ''ready'' get a machine on it and get rid of swirls/scratches

Tbh pal looking at it today after being clayed, theres very few swirls on it! Thats a guide at how much overspray there was on it!

did you get a look at it under direct sunlight or any halogens?? youd be surprised mate

Well I looked into a patch where the light was shining straight onto it and it didnt seem that bad! But then again my standards of cleaning are probably not a good as yours looking through your cleaning threads!

Paul - He did do the windows but not the wheels, they have only just been refurbed and painted within the last couple of weeks.

Car is currently sat with relatively bare paint work lad. Get it polished, even by hand, and sealed, other wise all you newly clayed paint work will need doing again once contaminents stick to it

He used the stage 3 meguires carnuba wax after the clay, that alright? Was gunna go over it tomoz anyways with a bit of polish and wax...

Not keen on the so called "three stage" stuff, but get some polishing and waxing done tomorrow and twill be dandy lad
