So I love Ford Orions and keep my eye out daily for one...

I found one on ebay. Real tidy. Now bear in mind concours mintey minters go for about £2-2500.

The one in question started at £2150. The reduced every other week for the last few months until it got down to £1800 iirc.

Well it seems some joker bought it and thought he'd found a white elephant.

Mental.

Its had welding/repairs/filler to the rear arches as well so its not even original. The bloke is on drugs. Fair play to him if he can get £5695 (FLOL!!) for it, but I remain sceptical.

I've got a Mk4 Escort sat on a mates drive, had it 5+ years now. Same colour as that, a 1.6 LX! done 23,000 miles from new.

Not even looked at it for about 3 years so god knows what state its in.

I've just gone through his website and he's not right.

Some cars are in a posh showroom, some are outside someones house, some are in a dirty lockup... I feel sorry for his customers/victims.

The Cavvy 4x4 Turbo is a guilty favourite of mine.

And the Motorsport Vectra GSi for that matter.

John Cleland, I blame you!

I would want a GSI if i was ever going to have one, think they were 150bhp? Arent the 4x4 turbos like 200bhp? There a 4x4 Calibra kicking around my way that does look the nuts, standard and clean.

I had a Calibra 16v (cavalier coupe) not too long ago.

They still drive really really well even by today's standards. I'd definitely have one as a daily.

Ah the Calibra, I could never take them seriously after a lad got one when he was 18 and proceeded to try and get any piece of minge onto his "puffy, cream leather seats" at every opportunity whilst giving it the gun show.

He was (and, still is), a bellend of great magnitude and that, my freinds, is why I could only ever take a Calibra seriously in full Opel DTM livery.

Mega rare cloth interior lol. So the leather has been robbed and the 4x4 doesn't work
