Hail Storm Dented my CAR!!!!!

Hi guys!

Yesterday there was a massive storm and it hailed like crazy!! It was like stones were being thrown at my car! Now I have lots of slight dents which are noticeable when you look at the body with the light reflecting. FRUSTRATING!!!

Has anybody ever had this problem before and how did you treat it? Im gonna check with the insurance tomorrow to c if im covered (comprehensive).

i reckon you could claim on your insurance, as technically its the same as vandalism. just depends on whether you have protected no claims etc. as to whether its worth it.

Insurance is a tricky one because im on fully comp policy, which however does not cover damage from natural disasters (ie. if lightning strikes a tree and the tree falls on my car etc). Im not sure if hail storms come under this category or not.

Im really sorry to hear about your car mate. Chances are if you want it back to normal then it may need respraying on the damaged panels.

I wouldnt say its a hail storm, i would say some little brats threw a handful of gravel or something on the car then its covered under vandelism.
