Just bought an integrated hands free from halfords for £50 instead of £100.

Plugs straight through the stereo, piss easy to fit, just took a while to run cables in neatly. Mutes stereo and sounds clear when listening to people through the speakers.

Well worth £50, if your after hands free with out looking a tw*t with an ear piece, get down to halfords.

I have this system in my car too, but i paid the £99 a while ago.

My exhaust is too loud though i can hear the people talking fine.. but they cant hear me too well

does it work with the standard headunit?

I have used the standard head unit. you need to put the microphone up near the sun visor to be heard clearly when you speak. Mines working pukka but i dont have loud exhaust.

If you want a really neat fit on a MkII install the mic inside the interior light assembly behind the little grille at the front. Theres a felt strip that will need removing but then you wont se the mic at all.
