Handbrake cable snapped.

Two days after an expensive cam/aux belt change the handbrake cables gone. What kinda price am i looking at to get it replaced at a local garage?

renault have release uprated ones (and forgot to tell anyone!) so if you change one, you have to do both (there is a tech note hidden on the system about it)

off the top of my head they're £50-£60 for the pair and it would be no more than an hour to fit them

always do pairs anyway, they'll just be un-balanced if you do one at a time, made that mistake many years ago on my 205 (same calipers etc)

no idea exactly, but the new versions are much thicker did some 6months ago and found out about it
