handbrake cable??

Hi there, i have recently bought a 2002 clio 172, however i belive it may be an import beacuse it only says clio renaultsport on the logbokk, no 172?? and also when having the handbrake cable replaced the garage cannot seem to find the correct cable, they have had several of different lengths from motor factors, non of which are correct, can anyone help??
