What?No just rip it out... Mine did not beep or show, but if you put it on a diagnostic machine it will show up as curcit broken...
If your removing the seats the beep/light wont happen anymore since the wiring is disconnected.
If your using harnesses with std seats, which you shouldn't be doing, just open the seatbelt buckle socket thing, see the 2 copper connecters on one side that get broken when the belt is in, bend them away from each other and the beep and light is no more.
Exactly what I did two star drive screws holding the seat belt togeather, remove the wire will just unclip...
Then you have a dangling wire, looks messy :rasp:
