harnesess getting around the seatbelt light?

if i take out the connection to the seatbelt clip in bit will it constantly show the light? as i have harnesses so wont b using normal seatbelts so taking it all out.

any help would be great as im a clio virgin

No just rip it out... Mine did not beep or show, but if you put it on a diagnostic machine it will show up as curcit broken...

What?

You just put resistors into the airbag connectors. There is a guide in the guides section on how to do it.

You dont need to put in a resistor to the seat belt light, only the seat belt pre tensioners... As he says the seat belt light i.e the seat belt light/beep when not wearing a seat belt... lolz

If your removing the seats the beep/light wont happen anymore since the wiring is disconnected.

If your using harnesses with std seats, which you shouldn't be doing, just open the seatbelt buckle socket thing, see the 2 copper connecters on one side that get broken when the belt is in, bend them away from each other and the beep and light is no more.

Exactly what I did two star drive screws holding the seat belt togeather, remove the wire will just unclip...

right ok then.im usin harnesses with std seats for a lil while untill i get me buckets.. so if i take wireing out will it stop anything else?

surely the standard seatbelts wont make that much difference to the weight compared to harnesses?? whats the point.

its for looks aswell. then i can take all the trim out around the stnd seatbelts. its goin to be left like that eventaly because im goin to track prep it.
