Harness bar... Can I weld one in on existing cage??

Hi guys... First post so be kind!!
Ok so I have a Clio 182.., have been tracking it for past few years... One thing that's always worried me is that my 3 point harness uses existing eye bolt in subframe... I'd far prefer to have harness attached to a harness bar in cage... Stronger right?
I have a sparco 6 point bolt in cage.... Can I weld in a harness bar to it and would this be the safest way to fit harnesses? If so what height would be recommended?!

Yes.. Buy a proper bar and fitting from a well known supplier..

Don't risk a bargain.

Your harness bar should be as horizontal as possible to the harness as it passes through seat holes

Not the best picture, cage is an omp, added the bar which was from Merlin Motorsport and the fittings also.. Bar was cut down and welded up and powercoated, It's also removable which is a plus..
