As said before i advise not to fit 60mm springs to standard shocks.

Get a proper apex/fk kit if you're going lower than 60mm.

Might as well get a set of TA Technixx coilovers.

60mm on standard shocks, even new, is still a nono.

My Ph1 is down about 50-60max on cheap coilovers and the ride over a badly surfaced road can be...intense. Certainly won't be dozing off at the wheel at any rate.

Okay guys I'm not using standard shocks I'm getting full set of fk sport shocks and springs

coilovers are a it ott on a 1.2! lol.

to answer the other part of your question, my 1.2 Mk1 is lowered 60mm and although the ride is very hard, its fine provided i'm not going over many bumps
