If you look normally there are two seperate plates on the standard car. By having them fixed together in theory there is less movement etc.

Yeah, even if it did I don't think it would make a realistic difference. Mines all rusted and I thought it might be a nice bit of kit to replace it but the price seems far too high for an Aesthetical part.

Wtf is that? I can't see where it would fit on any Clio. Is it a diffuser? or a bonnet vent? Or a roof scoop?

It's an undertray and diffuser.
Remember when Top Gear did Britcar and they had one? Same thing, but made my Japs. So probably won't fall off.
