has anyone on here the 1.6 initiale clio, the other top of the range clio, ive never seen one in the flesh was wondering if these are more exclusive than the v6?

Ive had a 1.4 Initial 5dr Clio as a courtesy car.

Id imagine they are very rare thoug more so than Renault Sports.

Ive seen 1 once, through me at first cause it has the colour coded side strips with silver badge at the front, thought it was a 172 at the time.

Still, quite rare.

My mother in law has one
She loves it - its a 1.6 16v in silver. It has the silver 16v door trims, walnut trim inside and also had the half leather half alcantara.

She was very disappionted to know that she cannot get another as they have stopped making them now.

I think this threads about the extra special 1600 dude!!!

If we are talking about the norm then theress a few people on here with 1.6 16vs from Essex alone that i know of!!!

i was gonna buy a 1.6 initiale before i got my alize - never got it as it looked like it had been in a major prang. nice car tho

Ive only ever seen one too, dodgy wood trim and an auto! Also confused me intialey (hahaha) because it thought it was a 172 with the badges and xenons but it had different wheels, no arches etc. How much were they?

well i wanted to buy one of these before my cup, brand new and it worked out 16k couldnt believe it very nice car but very rare, wondering if anybody has seen or owns one, jay r is right it does have walnut trim and leathers etc, almost same spec as 172/182 except its 5 door isnt sporty and is quite posh on the inside
