has anyone had sand on there car?

I washed and waxed the car on Sunday, looked today its covered in sand..i spent ages cleaning it..i know its blown in from the Sahara, I thought it was just over the south of England.

yes, my car was coated really thickly in it yesterday - thought a neighbour must have had some builders in or something.

Mine was clean before the sand due to a day of heavy rain,
now i've got to wait for it to rain again. :dapprove:
