Have you bloted/fixed your sub in?

Just wondered really? ive noticed some people have and some people havent. If you have, how and what did u bolt it to?
The way i drive i think mine would fly out the petrol tank if i dont make it secure...

  Polo + Micra
do as i say not do as i do.

no mine is just placed of the supports for the false floor:eek:.

this is a really bad idea and you should always properly secure(not velcro) any I.C.E that is in the boot

^^^ Indeed, i've heard of people being killed/seriously injured in accidents just from ICE stuff hitting them thats not been secured down. I know i certainly wouldn't fancy getting hit by my yellow top battery, weighs bloody loads

I've velcroed mine, but as said above its not really a brilliant idea. Is the quickest, easiest and most non permanent though which is why I did it, stops it from moving around the boot during enthusiatic cornering.

I'm thinking of having a bolt tack welded to the boot and then drill a hole in the enclosure and bolt it down, plus a dash of silicone to seal it up.

Mines not secured at all at the moment as its been in and out a few times with my mums wheelchair needing to go in the car. but was in the other night while i was doing 360's etc on the snow / ice didnt move at all and theres nothing holding it in place no velcro nothing. and i throw my car round loads it never moves.

Just keep the rear seat belts fastened though just incase i do have an accident they "should" keep it in place in the back and not smashing the seats down to come flying through.
