Hazard lights not working???

Hi,

I have an '03 clio sport 172.
Can you guys give advise on thr following issue:
Hazard warning lights dont work when i press the dash button.
Info:
All indicators flash with remote lock/unlock
All indicators work independantly

Question:
Does the hazard switch have a relay or diode etc built into it??

Should i buy another dash hazard switch off ebay and replace

How does the hazard switch come out of dash?

Replace the switch yes and yes, it comes out of the dash.

I'm sure there's a guide on how to do this in the members area mate... well worth the £12 a year it is

just go to renault and buy one from the laguna i think, all you have to do is swap the tops cos it is cheaper that way, to get the button off u need to take the radio out then pull the panel above it off then take the pug off of the back of the switch should be self explanatory really

Ive taken switch out, it just popped out with a tiny screwdriver.

It working fine except the spring/switch inside is a bit iffy. Ive got the knack how to turn the hazards on and off, but gunna get another off ebay as the stealers wanted £35+vat :-(
