Hazard Switch MOT Fail

Anyone fitted an aftermarket switch? I bought a new switch last year and its w**k already. The button will turn on the lights ok but takes a lot of fiddling/poking to make it turn back off (would have thought it would just have to work to pass MOT but it seems it has to be able to turn off too)

Wondering if anyone has gone about fitting an aftermarket one or can you use the likes of the meggy switch etc

Any help/advise appreciated

I don't think I used mine 6 times in the combined 6 years I owned a Clio. Don't even know if it works on my new car actually.
