Hazard switch not working

  Fabia VRS Special Ed
My hazard switch does not work for some reason :|
The clock is also very dim, in whatever light you have.

Does anybody know how to sort these out please?

Cheers
Liam

I push the hazard button in/out but no noise is made and the lights do not work.

Common failiure on the clio's.

Probably need a new switch, Try ebay or post a wanted thread.

For the dial dimness:

Do you have a dimmer switch the right of your steering wheel, Underneath. Where abouts your right knee is. Some have dial dimmers, Some dont. If you do try turning up the brightness.

There is a wheel that you can turn, but I was told it was for the headlights, and when I turn this it makes no difference to the brightness of the clock :(

there only about £15 from Renault.

Mine died on MOT day

What are the odds of that?

Ok, Mine has no dimmer wheel only one for the headlights, But my dash is at a good brightness.

Could be one of these or a combination that are giving up the ghost: Battery, Alternator or crap eath leads.

But im not 100% sure if that would cause a dim dash.

As for the hazard button, You just lever out the panel where the 3 swictches are, Pop the tabs that hold the hazard button in place out. Then unplug it. And install the new one.
