Hi all,
My car had just started having some electrical weirdness and I'm worried that the local garages will suck me dry over it so I'd love to ask here first if I may. One local french car is asking for £45 diagnostic charge alone, no fix included!
So here's what's up. After the heat wave, I am finding the car with the hazard lights flashing. I have to go in and manually press the button to stop them. The alarm is also going off intermittently as well. But it switches itself off after a short time thankfully, unlike the hazard lights
So I suspect the heatwave may have a role to play. Not sure. But my vehicle has also had a history of strange electrical things post accident repair (bumper knocked off, non fault) previously the screen wash jet wasn't on and a local garage found a compressed wire.
But who knows. Is this a common fault? Fuses OK.
