HDR in photoshop? :S

I heard you can make HDR images using photoshop? using different layers?
How is this done?

It's not a good turn out using photoshop, but its like actions > hdr merge from the file menu.

Its far too much hassle. Shoot raw and you can make a decent HDR from a single exposure using something like photomatix
