Head Light Correction

Well I thought I would give my headlights a little love today and tbh I think the results came out alright.

Only too about 1 hour to do both headlights, I'm sure I could spend a little more time on them and they would be perfect but tbh I can't be arsed and the pub is calling.

lol its well worth it and a piece of piss to do. Just stick with the 2500 grit wet and dry otherwise you'll be there all day afterwards buffing lol

Looks loads better mate! I did mine yesterday and they're better but not perfect. I've still got weird patches/blotches across the middle of the headlight, anyone got an idea what this is and how to get rid of it?

Did you just do it all with the 2500? Might have a go like this.

Also what polish did you use?

No I used 2000 then 2500 and polished up with that Mcguires scratch x stuff. Its come out really well tbh apart from the patches

All I used was 2500 grit then compound with my machine buffer then a small amount of Auto Glym HR polish. I stuck with just the 2500 sand paper because a friend of mine told me it would take ages if I used a lower grade. I had 1 new blotch come up the other day (hence the reason to do this) and it just sanded out. A lot of sanding is the key to this. I believe it's the sun that causes these

Cheers - just went and did mine, did 2000 then 2500, then Maguire's Scratch X with the buffer. Look fantastic now compared to how bad they were!

Now I need to wash all the crap off the bumper

I so need to do mine but i cant get hold of any 2500.. looked all over and asked everybody, all i could get is 1000 and its far to harsh.

Perks of leaving in a 3rd world country (Spain) job for the internet i think postage will cost more lol
