Head Unit Losing Settings

Everytime i turn the ignition off the HU loses its settings. i have to tune it in everytime. Now this never happened with the nova i had but with the clio is there something which needs changing.

Excuse the retardness of the question its just ive not got my installation manual with me

Probs sensible to mention which Head Unit, lol

Its a Pioneer DEH-5500MP

Im thinking its something to do with the red/yellow wires but like i said not got my manual

yeah swap the red and yellow connections on the head units wiring adapter

There should be a connector that is constant live, plug both yellow and red wires into the same socket and you can use your head unit with the ignition off

sorted now. not to botherd about the Ignition off thing, might change it when i sort the sub and amp out but for now its ok.
